Oh, engagement season. I love the early spring because it means heavy volume of planning power sessions and lots of face-to-face time with my darling couples. (Meetings are probably my favorite part of planning!) Especially those who live out-of-town -- spring seems to be the best time for people to make a quick weekend jaunt to Nashville, power through some tastings and final meetings, and get ready for their late spring/summer/fall nuptials.
One of my late spring couples is particularly dear to me - my husband's brother and his fiancee will be tying the knot (at long last!) this Memorial Day weekend at the gorgeous historic Carnton Plantation. Stephen and Jennifer have been in my life for many years; Drew and I photographed them getting ready for their high school prom what seems like ages ago! Now they'll be saying "I do" beneath the oak tree at one of their favorite Franklin plantations in just a few short weeks.
Here are a few sweet photos of them (taken by the talented Jessica Rai), in honor of our mega (final) planning session tomorrow!
Stephen & Jenn - we can't wait to get y'all hitched in just over two months! Love you two!
